Dr. David Lopp brings thirty years of north metro Atlanta practice to Bolt Eye Group Lawrenceville, where he sees patients on select days each week.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Louisiana State University and his Doctor of Optometry from the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 1994. He then spent more than seventeen years at The Eye Gallery in Alpharetta, followed by nearly eleven years as the optometrist at 20/15 EyeCare in Sandy Springs, a practice he co-owned until its sale. Many of his longtime patients have followed him from office to office.
Dr. Lopp is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry and a member of the American and Georgia Optometric Associations. His clinical focus is medical eye care: glaucoma detection and management, dry eye disease, and the eye effects of systemic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Patients with a family history of glaucoma or a diabetes diagnosis will find a doctor who watches the details year over year.
Outside the office, Dr. Lopp's favorite subject is his kids, and, judging by the hat, LSU football.
