What to expect
A visit most people have never had.
In a typical eye exam, the doctor looks at your eyes, mentions a few numbers, and you leave without ever seeing what they saw. Here, your scans come up on a large-screen TV and the doctor walks you through your own optic nerve and retina, layer by layer, while you ask questions.
A doctor reviews every image
The doctor sees the same high-resolution images they would see standing in the room, not a summary passed along later.
Two glaucoma scans, free
Your $39 retinal imaging is upgraded with two advanced OCT glaucoma scans at no extra charge.
Our team stays with you
Our staff check you in, run your tests and imaging, and stay with you through the whole visit.
Advanced OCT glaucoma scans
Your standard imaging, upgraded.
Glaucoma usually causes no pain and no early warning signs, and vision lost to glaucoma can't be brought back. That's why we add two detailed OCT scans to your imaging.
- Nerve fiber scan (optic nerve). Measures the layer of nerve fibers around the optic nerve, where glaucoma damage shows up.
- Ganglion cell scan (macula). Measures the cells in the center of the retina that glaucoma can thin early.
- A baseline for life. These scans become the starting point we compare against at future visits, so small changes stand out.
Yours to keep
Take your scans home on the I-Scan Platinum Lifetime Baseline.
At the end of your visit you get a credit-card-size USB drive with your images and scans on it, at no charge. Keep it in your wallet, show it to any eye doctor or specialist you see, and have your own baseline with you wherever you go.
Document your vision today. Preserve your vision tomorrow.

Questions
In-office telehealth FAQs
Is a telehealth eye exam as good as seeing the doctor in person?
You're in our office the whole time. Our team does your testing and imaging in person, and the doctor sees the same high-resolution images they would see in the room, then reviews them with you live on a large screen. Many patients like it even more than a regular visit, because they get to see their own scans while the doctor explains them.
What are the two extra glaucoma scans?
Two OCT scans: one of the nerve fiber layer around the optic nerve, and one of the ganglion cell layer in the macula. Together they give a detailed baseline for glaucoma that we compare against at future visits.
How much does it cost?
Your retinal imaging is $39, and the two added glaucoma scans are included at no extra charge. Your eye exam itself is billed to your vision plan or medical insurance as usual. Call the office with your plan name and we'll check your benefits before your visit.
What is the I-Scan Platinum Lifetime Baseline?
A credit-card-size USB drive with your images and scans on it. You take it home at the end of your visit and keep it at no charge.
Which offices offer in-office telehealth exams?
Canton, Lawrenceville and Riverdale in Georgia, and Johnson City in Tennessee.
Do I need to do anything special to get ready?
No. Come in just like a regular eye exam, with your insurance cards, your current glasses and contacts, and a list of the medications you take.
