Our Johnson City office runs DreamSculpt Ortho-K, an orthokeratology program for nearsighted kids. Ortho-K lenses are worn overnight, and they're among the most studied ways to slow myopia.

Contacts that let you see near and far

Multifocal contact lenses help many people over 40 see up close and far away without reading glasses.

Monovision is another option. We'll try lenses on your eyes and adjust them so they suit your routine.

How we examine your eyes

Every patient gets a pressure check and our $39 imaging (retinal photos and a corneal map). Your doctor reviews each image with you. OCT glaucoma scans are included with an in-office telehealth visit.

Our trained staff welcome you, and our opticians help you pick frames. Lenses are edged on site, and every pair is triple-checked before pickup.

Gray patient FAQs

How far is your office from Gray?

About 10.7 miles from the Gray Fossil Site and Museum, roughly 16 minutes without traffic: Suncrest Drive to I-26 east, then North Roan Street.

Do you see kids for eye exams?

Yes. We see children for comprehensive exams, and our Johnson City office offers DreamSculpt Ortho-K and myopia control for kids whose nearsightedness is getting worse.

How does DreamSculpt Ortho-K work?

It's orthokeratology. Custom Ortho-K lenses are worn while your child sleeps and gently flatten the center of the cornea, so vision is clear during the day without glasses.

Are scleral lenses for keratoconus covered by insurance?

Coverage varies by plan. Call 423-928-1010 with your insurance details and we'll check before your fitting.

Can multifocal contacts replace bifocals?

For many people over 40, multifocal contacts handle most daily tasks without reading glasses or bifocals. Monovision is another option. We fit trial lenses first.
