Dr. Jaymini Nayee leads Bolt Eye Group East Cobb in Marietta, where she sees patients full-time, and she also sees patients at Bolt Eye Group Canton. At both offices she runs our Ortho-K and myopia control program for kids, working alongside Barbra Williams, COT, COA.
She earned a degree in biopsychology from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2004, where she was a member of the Psi Chi psychology honor society and the Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity, and her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2008. In optometry school she served a term as president of the National Optometric Student Association, organized vision screenings for underserved communities around Memphis, and completed clinical internships in ocular disease at Clayton Eye Centre and Dorfzaun Eye Group. After graduating she joined a surgical practice in Covington, Georgia, where she managed cataract and refractive surgery patients before and after their procedures.
Dr. Nayee is a board-certified optometrist and an active member of the Georgia and American Optometric Associations. Her clinical interests are Ortho-K and myopia control, ocular disease, cataract co-management, dry eye, specialty contact lens fittings, and comprehensive exams for patients of every age.
She lives in Smyrna with her husband and two children.
