Priority services

Two of the things we're best known for:

  • DreamSculpt Ortho-K

Our orthokeratology option for kids and teens. Custom Ortho-K lenses worn overnight mean clear vision all day without glasses, and they can slow myopia. Dr. Nayee leads the program. DreamSculpt Ortho-K
  • Scleral lenses for keratoconus

Custom lenses that vault over a cone-shaped cornea for crisp, comfortable vision when glasses fall short. Scleral lenses · Keratoconus

One pair of contacts for near and far

Multifocal contact lenses help many people see up close and far away without reading glasses.

If you're tired of hunting for your readers, ask about multifocal soft lenses or monovision contacts. Both are designed for the near-focus change that comes with age.

We fit trial lenses, check your vision at work and at home, and fine-tune at follow-up.

How we examine your eyes

Every exam includes a pressure check, a careful prescription and a look at the whole eye. Our $39 imaging adds retinal photos and corneal topography, saved as your baseline so next year's images can be compared side by side. Your doctor shows you everything on screen.

Need OCT? It comes with our in-office telehealth visit: two OCT glaucoma scans in the same $39.

  1. Check-in

    Quick, friendly and organized.

  2. Testing

Trained staff take your measurements and photos.

  3. Your doctor

Prescription, eye health and a clear walk-through of your images.

  4. Optical

Frame help from our opticians. Lenses are edged in our own office and checked three times before you pick them up.

Glaucoma, dry eye and cataracts

  • Glaucoma

Painless and gradual, so we look for it at every visit. When laser or surgery is the next step, we refer you only to the best glaucoma surgeons, chosen for optimum care. Glaucoma care
  • Dry eye

Burning or gritty eyes after long screen days? We treat the cause, not just the symptoms. Dry eye care
  • Cataracts

We find and track cataracts, then refer you, only to the best surgeons for optimum care, when surgery makes sense. Bolt Eye Group does not perform surgery; we handle your exams and follow-up. Cataract care

We take VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera and other vision plans, along with Medicare and major medical plans such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna and Humana. Medicaid is not accepted at this office.

Kennesaw patient FAQs

What's the best route from Kennesaw?

From Kennesaw City Hall, take Cobb Parkway (US-41) south, hop briefly onto I-75, then follow North Marietta Parkway east toward Sewell Mill Road. It's about 11.2 miles, roughly 19 minutes without traffic.

Do you treat college students?

Yes. We see adults of every age for eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye from long study sessions, and urgent problems like a red or painful eye. Call 770-578-1900 and we'll try to fit you in the same day.

How do Ortho-K lenses compare with daytime contacts?

DreamSculpt Ortho-K lenses are worn only while you sleep. This orthokeratology method reshapes the cornea overnight, so you see clearly all day with nothing in your eyes. Daytime contacts are worn while awake. Dr. Nayee can help you decide which suits you.

I was told I'm hard to fit. What are scleral lenses?

Scleral lenses are large rigid lenses that rest on the white of the eye and vault over the cornea on a layer of saline. They're often used as scleral lenses for keratoconus, irregular corneas after surgery, and severe dry eye.

Can contact lenses replace my reading glasses?

For many people, multifocal contact lenses do. They correct near and far vision together, so most daily tasks can be done without readers. Monovision is another option. A fitting with trial lenses shows what works best for you.
