A thorough exam, explained
We fine-tune your prescription, check your eye pressure (every patient, every visit) and look at the front and back of each eye. For $39, you also get retinal and optic nerve photos plus a corneal topography map. Your doctor puts those images on screen and explains them in plain language.
OCT glaucoma scans are part of our in-office telehealth visits, where the same $39 covers two OCT scans.

Opticians help you find a flattering frame. Lenses are edged in our office, and every pair gets a triple-check before pickup.
DreamSculpt Ortho-K, led by Dr. Nayee
DreamSculpt Ortho-K is our orthokeratology program for kids whose prescription climbs every year. Custom Ortho-K lenses are worn overnight and removed in the morning, so the day is glasses-free. Dr. Nayee starts with a detailed corneal map and sees your child often while the eyes adjust.
Up close and far away, without reading glasses
If small print has started to blur, multifocal contact lenses may let you read and see distance without readers.
They're made for the near-focus change that starts in the 40s. Many wearers can read texts, work on a laptop and drive with the same lenses. Monovision, with one eye for distance and one for near, is another option we try with contacts first.
Each fitting includes trial lenses and a follow-up visit, because every pair of eyes is different.

Scleral lenses for keratoconus
Keratoconus makes the cornea thin and cone-shaped, and glasses stop helping. Scleral lenses for keratoconus vault over the cornea on a layer of saline and rest on the white of the eye. Dr. Nayee and Dr. Ta fit them in Marietta.

Marietta patient questions
Is Bolt Eye Group East Cobb actually in Marietta?
Yes. Our office is at 2255 Sewell Mill Rd #310, Marietta, GA 30062. From Marietta City Hall, just off the Square, it is about 4.6 miles and roughly 11 minutes without traffic, heading east on Roswell Street, which becomes Roswell Road, to Sewell Mill Road.
Do you see patients from west Marietta too?
Of course. We care for patients from every part of Marietta, east and west, plus the rest of Cobb County. The Marietta Parkway loop and Roswell Road make the trip quick from most neighborhoods.
Who fits DreamSculpt Ortho-K in Marietta?
Dr. Jaymini Nayee leads our DreamSculpt Ortho-K program. It is an orthokeratology treatment: custom Ortho-K lenses are worn only during sleep, so kids can go to school, play sports and swim without glasses, and it is one of the most studied ways to slow myopia.
Can you fit scleral lenses for keratoconus?
Yes. Dr. Nayee and Dr. Quynh Ta both fit scleral lenses, and Barbra Williams, COT, COA, helps with complex keratoconus fits. Scleral lenses rest on the white of the eye and vault over the cornea, giving it a smooth surface to see through.
I'm over 40. Can I get contacts that let me read without readers?
Often, yes. Multifocal contact lenses correct near and distance vision in the same lens, and many people use them for most tasks without reading glasses. We also fit monovision. We test lenses on your eyes first and fine-tune them at follow-up.
